Also known as Golden Lily Oolong, Jin Xuan is a new varietal developed in Taiwan in the 1990s. It is famous for its natural milky buttery flavor. Light fermented with intense characters, the tea starts with a fresh floral aroma, and finishes with a smooth and sweet creamy flavour. The distinct characters of Jin Xuan make it one of the 4 major Taiwanese oolong varieties (the other three are Green-heart oolong, Cui Yu/Green Jade, and Si Ji Chun/Four-Season Spring).
Jin Xuan Cultivar was introduced into Wuyi Mountain in the 2000s, giving birth to a new great variety of Wuyi Oolong Teas. |
