Introduction: |
Huang Guan Yin (Yellow Goddess of Mercy), the newest member of Wuyi Yancha family, is a cross-bred/hybrid tea varietal developed by the Tea Research Institute, Fujian Academy of Agricultural in 1980s. It is a cross between Tie Guan Yin and Huang Jin Gui, two of the most well known oolong varietals. Huang Guan Yin has been widely grown in the Wuyi and Anxi regions since 1990. The Wuyi Yancha made of the varietal is slowly but surely gaining popularity due to its exquisite nice taste and fine quality.
The Huang Guan Yin Wuyi Yancha was made of the tealeaves picked from the tea trees of Huang Guan Yin varietal in Zhengyan area of Wuyi Mountain. It was made in the traditional charcoal roasting Yancha production way in the long, twisted leaf style. >Visit The Wuyi Zhengyan Yancha Producing Area Online< |
