Introduction:

The Mini Raw Pu Erh Square bricks were made of tealeaves harvested from tea tree of more than 100 years old age in Bada Shan, Menghai County, Yunnan in Spring. The tea is full of intense cha qi and is somewhat bitter and pungent. The mouth-feel is strong and fills and stimulates the mouth long after it has been drunk. There is a slight flowery aroma that will become more obvious with aging.

There is a widespread misunderstanding that raw Pu Erh can only be drunk after at least 5-10 years aging. In fact, raw Pu Erh of good quality esepcially the ones made of tealeaves harvested from old or ancient arbor tea trees is declious even being enjoyed in current year. Of course, amazing changes can be found every several years if properly stored.

The “Mini Raw Pu Erh Squares” are compressed into 4-5g per piece. Each piece of mini squares is individually wrapped in gold paper, so it is very handy to carry around; people can even put it in their own pocket. Unlike the conventional Pu-erh which normally exist in a much bigger size (like a piece of pizza or cake), people do not have to dismantle big tea cakes or bricks; instead they can directly brew a piece of Mini Pu Erh Squares in their teapot.

Preparation Methods:

Put one piece of such Mini Raw Pu Erh Squares into a teapot. Traditionally, the first infusion rinses and "wakes up" the tea and is then discarded. As with any quality Pu Erh, this tea can be infused 7-10 times. Each infusion should last between 5-10 seconds according to individual taste preference.
