| Introduction: | Phoenix Dancong Oolong is famous for its floral fragrance and long after sweetness. In addition, the tea liquid thickness is sought after by many tea connoisseurs. The high grade of Phoenix Oolong is grown at altitude above 1000m. Some of them are grown at 1400m. The Phoenix Mountain consists of a number of peaks. Usually some remote peaks are also considered as a part of Phoenix Mountain as long as it is situated in and around Phoenix Town. The most famous peak for high end Phoenix Oolong is called Wu Dong Shan. Rich in red soil that contains high iron content, now it is the signature peak for the Phoenix Oolong. Tea trees grow in between the large numbers of rocks in Wu Dong Shan. Dan Cong tea trees only plucked once a year there are kept in natural farming style and no pesticide or fertilizer is used. |
