Introduction: |
Bang Dong Village (邦东寨) is situated in the Mengku County, Lincang Prefecture. Bang Dong is a small village not far from the famous Bing Dao village, at an altitude around 1600 meters. Our production is made entirely of the tealeaves picked by one family from their small ancestral tea garden which consists of tea trees of more than 100 years old age.
Pu Erh Tea from Bang Dong has the typical Mengku characterisitics: pleasant aroma, strong cha qi with a thick nutty sweet after-taste. |
Preparation Methods: |
We recommend using between 5 and 8g per serving for this tea. Traditionally, the first infusion rinses and "wakes up" the tea and is then discarded. As with any quality Pu Erh, this tea can be infused 7-10 times. Each infusion should last between 5-10 seconds according to individual taste preference.
To break off pieces from the Pu Erh Tea brick, use a letter opener or similar shaped knife. Insert the knife or letter opener into the brick and gently loosen and lift a piece off. The aim of breaking the brick in this way is to keep as many leaves intact as possible.
